Geometric Insets: Blue & Yellow

The Geometry Insets introduce the child to plane geometry. A set of thirty-five geometric insets and frames. (Cabinet sold separately). These insets will fit the Nienhuis cabinet. Knobs on these insets are fixed with a special glue and method that prevents their “falling out” or coming lose.

This set, as with all Gonzagarredi materials, is based on the original Maria Montessori blueprints. Therefore, the chevron, and the kite are not included. The chevron was added upon the advice of Jen Miller and was include in the set by Nienhuis later. Baiba Grazzini is not in favor of adding the chevron since it is not a pure geometric shape but a derived one.
